Skincare talks #2

Hey there!

I hope you have had a lovely breakfast today :)

As promised in my last post, here is a a second one about skincare and what I have discovered about the Korean industry as of late. I also thought that, since Black Friday is coming up, it might be a good idea to share with you some of my current favourites that you can find at SkinCupid.

Cosrx Snail Mucin Essence

Okay, this might sound kind of gross at first, but this product has truly been saving my skin since I started using it. Strong of Snail Secretion Filtrate as its primary ingredient with a concentration of 96%, this product will help retain moisture whilst plumping the skin and strengthening its natural barrier. This is a fantastic product for all skin types, and there aren’t any doubts as to why this product has become viral in the last few months.

I was very lucky to be able to test this product at the SkinCupid pop-up store just over a week ago, and I absolutely loved the texture and the instantaneous moisturising effect. This sunscreen feels extremely lightweight and protects your skin from sun damage with a cover of SPF 50. This is also a sunscreen that does not leave any white cast on the skin, which makes it ideal for any skin colour.

These little guys have been life saviours when I occasionally get a pimple; they prevent any sort of irritation as well as protecting the area from any bacteria that could come infect it, as well as acting as a reminder to be careful with this zone and let it heal properly on its own. With A.D.F. Hydrocolloid Dressing, it also helps speed up the healing process.

I purchased this little gem during the pop-up store event, and I am truly loving it so far. The star ingredient here is Chamomile Extract, making up 62% of the formula. The product also contains Niacinamide and Adenosine, making this product deeply hydrating while also possessing anti-aging properties and protecting the skin barrier.

This is a fantastic product to accustom your skin to Vitamin C treatment. The addition of Galactomyces really soothes the action of the Vitamin C which is known to cause irritation if used in bigger concentration on a skin that has not gotten used to the ingredient. I have gone through two bottles already, and it felt so heavenly applying this on my face in the morning. Disclaimer: always use a sunscreen if you are applying any form of Vitamin C product on your skin.

And there we have our little selection! I hope you will find this helpful if you are looking for some new products to try.

Looking forward to speaking to you soon!

Clara xx

PS: when the sale is done, you can use the code CLARA10 for 10% off your purchase on SkinCupid :)
