Blog post number 5! Woohoo!!!
How are you feeling today guys? I am buzzing personally, although it is true that I had a couple of lethargic days at the start of the week, guess my body needed sleep and a bit more sunshine ^^’
Today, I wanted to share with you some things I have enjoyed lately, and it will include a book series and two singers!
The Mirror Visitor
I loooooooooove young adult fantasy (my favourite book series of this genre being Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas), and I have just read the four books of The Mirror Visitor in a month! Written by Christelle Dabos, a French author, the book tells the story of Ophelia, a young nerdy girl, very clumsy, with big round glasses, in a futuristic world where our planet has exploded into small Arks floating above an eternal storm surrounding the centre of the Earth. Each Ark is ruled by a family spirit, a magical being who is immortal to the detriment of their memory.
In this novel society, young citizens marry the person that the Doyennes have chosen for them. Ophelia does not want to abide, and refuses two suitors, before being promised to someone from another Ark (which is highly unusual) that she has never met. Ophelia is then embarking on an epic journey that will force her to come out of her shell to reveal their society’s darkest secrets.
If you love epic stories filled with magic, with some romance but not overwhelmingly so, I highly recommend you read this!
The fourth tome has not yet been released in English but will be later this year (it was released in French so I was kind of privileged to be able to read it all already hihi).

One of my dear friends has released an EP this week and I am so proud of him!! The EP contains five songs and is available on all streaming platforms. The songs are really well produced and if you are in the mood for a happy song, I highly recommend ‘Missed U’, it seriously puts me in a fantastic mood in the morning!
